The Account Manager provides client and team support working primarily at the direction of an Account Supervisor. They assist in the day-to-day production of work with a primary focus on driving quality creative deliverables while supporting longer term strategic deliverables.
The Requirements
- Minimum 4 yr. college degree with a marketing related focus
- 1-3 years’ experience in a fast-paced agency environment
- Experience with restaurants or retail accounts a plus
- Voracious learner and creative problem solver
- Ability to self-manage while supporting the team on multiple concurrent projects
- Ability to grasp bigger picture while maintaining strong attention to detail and organization
- Excellent writing and proofing skills
- Experience building client-facing decks and presentations
- Proficient with Microsoft Office including Microsoft Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
The Responsibilities
- Develops strong understanding of client industries and products/services, in addition to monitoring competitive brand activity
- Works with Account Supervisor to contribute to larger client strategic initiatives
- Contributes to development of job briefs for various projects
- Proactively communicates with key team members daily in a professional, efficient manner
- Leads and contributes to client-facing calls and meetings
- Prepares and maintains client service-related documents such as emails, client status reports, meeting agendas, meeting reports, and other client communications and correspondence
- Works in project management platform to communicate creative changes and assign work to creative team
- Develops timelines for ongoing projects and assists team in ensuring jobs stay on schedule/track and deadlines are met
- Assists in various QA/testing and proofreading for all projects
- Maintains current work-in-progress details and archives of past project information
- Follows up on jobs and projects internally and externally when needed
- Other duties as assigned
